Álvaro Pinto Basto is a highly accomplished legal professional with a rich background in litigation and arbitration. He has made significant contributions to the legal field in Mozambique and has held various prestigious positions throughout his career. 

Throughout his career, Álvaro has been actively involved in the Mozambique Bar Association, assuming important roles and responsibilities. In recognition of his expertise, he was recently elected member of National Council of Mozambique Bar Association, have been previously appointed Vice Chairman of the National Exam and Apprenticeship Commission of the Mozambique Bar Association (CNAEE) in October 2021. He has also served as a member of the National Exam and Apprenticeship Commission and the National Exam Commission and Apprenticeship. He has also been recognized for his contributions, receiving a merit award during the 25th anniversary of the Mozambique Bar Association.
