Mayara Miquidade is a Mozambican lawyer at Couto, Graça & Associados (CMS Maputo), specialising in Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure. She has experience providing legal support across multiple regulatory sectors, including oil & gas, mining, telecommunications, insurance, real estate, and FMCG finance. Her expertise covers legal due diligence, health–safety–environment audits, disciplinary and labor demobilization processes, commercial arbitration, contract drafting, licensing, and consortium incorporation.
She has also served as a Legal Probity Advisor for an oil and gas company, ensuring compliance and good governance between the company, the government and affected communities.
Mayara began her legal career as a trainee lawyer at CGA in 2022, having become a Lawyer in 2025 and holding a membership at the Mozambique Bar Association. Mayara holds both a Master’s in International Legal Studies (2020) and a Bachelor of Laws (2019) from the University of Bradford, UK. She is fluent in Portuguese and English.
