Jorge Graça is a highly accomplished legal professional with a distinguished career spanning Mozambique and East Timor. With expertise in various areas of law, he has made significant contributions to the legal field through his advisory roles and legislative drafting.

In Mozambique, Jorge served as a Partner and Legal Advisor at Graça & Associados, and previously at Monteiro, Graça & Associados. His vast experience includes advising companies on matters related to foreign investment, corporate law, and concessions. He has also played an instrumental role in shaping the legal landscape of Mozambique by leading the drafting processes for legislation in areas such as law firms' legal regime, time-sharing tourism, and arbitration, conciliation, and mediation.

In East Timor, Jorge held the position of Head of the Law Reform Commission, where he spearheaded policy and strategy development for law reform. He contributed to the drafting of significant laws, including those related to commercial arbitration and guarantees and banking loans. His expertise in justice and public administration led him to provide advisory services during the Assessment and Monitoring Missions of the World Bank.
